The Truths

Schedules matter

What you allow one night or two, quickly becomes a habit and hard to undo

Plan 15-30 minutes to magically disappear when you’re trying to get out the door

Mommies need play dates, too

Mommies need a mommy time management system

Have courage to master the struggle

Free, unorganized play time is important

Feed kids food that’s close to the earth. Save kid friendly food (chicken nuggest) for emergencies.

Everything we do sets an example

Kids want what they can’t have

Change pediatricians if you’re not completely happy with the one you’re using

Sometimes, it’s okay to fudge the fact with your (young) kids

You can’t quit the mommy job (sorry).
